1 When does Chrysi Elaia Resort open?
Chrysi Elaia Resort is scheduled to open in May 2027 in Georgioupoli, Crete.
2 Where exactly is the resort?
In Georgioupoli (Kavros) on the north coast of Crete, at Vorios Odikos Axonas Kritis, 73007 Chania. Chania airport is about 48 km away and Heraklion about 101 km.
3 Can I bring a pet?
Unfortunately not – pets are not allowed at the hotel.
4 How far is the beach?
The sandy beach is right in front of the hotel. You reach it through our olive grove and across the road.

6 What board basis do you offer?
All inclusive from arrival until departure. Meals are served as a buffet with Cretan and international cuisine, and every buffet has a Cretan meze corner.
7 Is there a dress code?
We kindly ask for smart casual attire at dinner.
8 What rooms do you offer?
63 rooms, each with access to the shared pool:
- Double Deluxe Sharing Pool (19.25 m², 2 guests)
- Double Deluxe Sharing Pool with Jacuzzi (on the roof terrace, 2 guests)
- Suite Sharing Pool (23.5 m², 2+1)
9 How big is the pool?
It has a surface area of 980 m² and a total length of 280 m, winding between the rooms like a lagoon.
10 Is Wi-Fi free?
Yes, in the rooms and in the common areas.
11 Are there beach towels in the room?
Yes, they are waiting in your room on arrival and no deposit is required. We exchange them free of charge once a week; any additional exchange is available at reception for a small fee.
12 How often are the rooms cleaned?
6 times a week. Towels are changed 3 times a week and bed linen twice a week.
